It all starts with family

Walters Workshop began with a simple goal. I wanted to build a better future for my family. Life didn’t hand us the easiest cards. I started this workshop later in life so I could give my loved ones the stability and joy they deserve.

This is more than a business to me. It’s a promise to myself to keep going, to keep crafting, so I can watch my family smile again.

Here’s what you should know about our work

I make leather goods the old way. By hand, one piece at a time, with patience and care.

Phone cases, notebooks, and key chains. Each is stitched from the finest leather I can find. I use traditional tools and time-honored methods. No shortcuts. No mass production.

You can also make it personal. I’m happy to engrave initials or words that matter to you, so your piece carries your story.

The leather we use

I believe that what you make is only as good as what you make it from. That’s why I use full grain leather the top layer of the hide, rich with natural character. It’s strong, ages beautifully, and tells its own story over time.

I work with tanneries that respect old-world processes. No heavy coatings to hide the grain, no cheap fillers to stretch profit. Just quality leather that grows softer and more personal the longer you use it.

I also make it a point to use the hide thoughtfully. I see it as a responsibility to the animal and to the craft. Every mark and variation is part of what makes each piece unique.

Why it matters

I want you to feel something solid and true when you hold a piece from my workshop. I hope it becomes a small part of your daily life, quietly picking up the marks of your journey.

This isn’t about chasing big sales. It’s about doing good work that stands the test of time, and maybe adds a bit of joy to your day.
